Designer On Demand is a flexible interior design service created for homeowners and house flippers who need professional guidance without committing to a full-service design contract. You book design time in hourly blocks and use it however you need - from picking finishes to staging for resale.
How is Designer On Demand different from full-service design?
Designer On Demand is flexible, hourly design support. Instead of a large, multi-phase contract, you book design time in blocks and use it for whatever you need most — from choosing paint colors to staging before a sale. Full-service design includes project management, procurement, and installation, while this package is strictly guidance and recommendations.
Can unused hours roll over?
Yes — your purchased hours are valid for three months from the date of purchase. This allows you to pause between project phases and pick back up when you’re ready.
Do you handle purchasing of furniture and finishes?
No — Designer On Demand is advisory only. I provide shopping lists, vendor suggestions, and style direction, but clients make purchases directly. For procurement and management, a full-service design agreement is required.
Is this service available virtually or only in person?
Both. For homeowners outside Raleigh-Durham metro, sessions are held virtually. For clients in the Raleigh-Durham metro area, on-site walk-throughs can be scheduled as part of your hours.
How quickly will I receive deliverables?
Most boards, sketches, and lists are delivered within 5–7 business days after our consultation, depending on project scope. Faster timelines may be available for resale prep and investor flips.
What types of projects work best with Designer On Demand?
Can I upgrade to full-service design later?
Absolutely. Many clients start with Designer On Demand and then transition to full-service design once they see the value of professional guidance.
